Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Maintify application. By accessing or using Maintify, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Maintify app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using Maintify on behalf of an apartment community or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

Maintify is an apartment community management platform that enables:

• Apartment and resident management for administrators and presidents.
• Monthly bill creation, distribution, and payment tracking.
• Complaint submission and resolution between residents and management.
• Community meeting scheduling and notifications.
• In-app communication between residents and apartment management.

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

Maintify operates with three user roles:

• Admin (Super Admin): Responsible for creating and managing apartment communities and assigning presidents.
• President: Manages their apartment community, bills, complaints, and residents.
• Resident: Uses the app to pay bills, raise complaints, and participate in community activities.

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Maintify for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Impersonate another user or provide false information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

5. Payment and Billing

Maintify facilitates bill management and payment tracking between residents and apartment management. All financial transactions between residents and their apartment community are the responsibility of the respective parties. Maintify is not a payment processor and does not handle actual monetary transfers.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of Maintify is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Maintify — including but not limited to the application design, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Maintify and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

Maintify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maintify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of Maintify but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at support.maintify@gmail.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Maintify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
